( Ares)

I knew he ways of forests thick with beasts, rabid and hungry.

I’ve fought my way to conquer plains of grass, where beasts made purely of muscle and teeth can spring from the tall grass at any time.

I’ve fought my way through people, even more dangerous, but far more rewarding in the hunt.

I’ve killed. I’ve tastes blood on my lips. I’ve taken victims any way possible. I’ve reveled in it.

My sister has barely seen death.

It’s time her naiveté stopped stagnating the Dominion of Peridot. It’s time for new blood to take over—an old to be shed.

The palace is quiet at night. My sister doesn’t believe in guards. She thinks she can defend herself. As does everyone else. I’ll prove her wrong.
