Review:  After I saw the "Ruroni Kenshin" anime series, I was wowed by the seiyuus and the opening and ending songs. In that respect, this CD is rather disappointing. It has two versions of the one of the opening songs, plus a remixed version, but everything else is comprised of the background music used throughout the series during fight scenes, dialogues, etc. You're left wondering: Where are the image songs? Where's the cool ending song? Where are the songs that don't sound like a muzak broken record? Is there anything on here that won't make me fall asleep? All the songs sound the same. There might be actually be an image song somewhere, but I couldn't tell who it was, let alone if it were actually an image song. Like I said, I kept falling asleep while listening to this CD.

Verdict: Unless you are extremely addicted to Rurouni Kenshin, Rurouni Kenshin: Original Soundtrack is not for everyone.
