Ayane originally entered the Dead or Alive tournament in a quest to locate her long-lost foster father Genra. What she learned, though, was that DOATEC, though the infamous Omega Project, had turned Genra into a puppet. She is the most powerful Shinobi in Hajin Mon, and she has devoted herself to putting her foster father out of his misery.
