Background Info   Long ago, Valmar, the God of Darkness, battled Granas, the God of Light, in an epic battle that left a giant scar on the surface of the planet and left Valmar defeated, split into several different "pieces," and sealed away. However, as the Day of Darkness approaches, the seals begin to weaken and the pieces of Valmar are breaking free from their prisons, taking over the bodies of human hosts and searching out the other pieces to form the whole body of Valmar once again.

However, the pieces aren't planning on going out for beer and pizza when they unite with a fellow piece. When two pieces meet, they battle for dominence and the winner devours the loser. Millenia is one of these pieces. As the is the Wings of Valmar, her spirit latches on to a human host body, which Millenia herself takes over whenever she sees fit.

As Ryudo, the mercenary hero of Grandia II, begins his hired mission to get a Songstress of Granas, Elena, to St. Hiem to meet with Pope Zera to search for a way to stop Valmar and prevent the Day of Darkness, Millenia appears from time to time and forces her way into Ryudo's party whenever she feels like it, usually when there's another piece of Valmar somewhere close by. Even though Ryudo and his peers have mixed feelings about Millenia's assistence, without her help they wouldn't be able to defeat the other pieces of Valmar that stand in their way.

Despite her demonic background and hellish mission, Millenia is a giggly, whimsical, fun-loving gal who takes very few things seriously. She loves to flirt with Ryudo and pick on Elena. Millenia is impatient and extremely spoiled, who always feels the need to be the center of attention and quickly pouts when she can't have her own way. However, at heart Millenia is a sensitive and good-natured girl who pulls through for her friends when it matters the most.
