| Background Info | The story follows Momoko Hanasaki, a junior high school girl who is in trouble between the Angel World and the Devil World. It all starts when Aphrodite tells Momoko that she is the legendary Love Angel Wedding Peach, and that she will take the place of her mother, Sakura, in finding and protecting the "Saint Something Four", after a devil named Pluie tries to steal Momoko's mother's ring. Now she must protect the sanctity of love from Rain Devilla and her minions. Her friends, the other Love Angels, are Yuri Tanima (Angel Lily) and Hinagiku Tamano (Angel Daisy). She also has Jama-P, who originally was a minion of Raindevila. Momoko is in love with Yosuke who is, unknowingly, a half-devil warrior of the Rafaal tribe in the Devil World named Viento; Yosuke's father Urugano, coincidentally, is the one who sent Celeste (Sakura) and himself to Earth in the first place. Yuri is in love with Captain Yanagiba of the soccer team, otherwise known as the angel Limone. While trying to live the lives of normal Japanese middle school students, the Love Angels must protect the world with love, or live in a world filled with nothing but hate. Momoko's mother was actually an angel named Celeste, Queen Aphrodite's younger sister, making Momoko half-angel. Angel Celeste fell to Earth during her fight against the Devils, losing her memory. Shouchirou Hanasaki found her and named her Sakura, eventually marrying and giving birth to Momoko. When Momoko turned three, Sakura was approached by Limone, where he restored her memories. She left the Saint Something Old behind with her daughter and returned to Heaven. In the series, Celeste appears before Wedding Peach and tells her this story. Momoko's feelings for Yousuke are complicated when she finds out he's the son of the Devil Hero Urugano, making him half-devil. This is in addition to their constant bickering as regular students. Despite this, they manage to recognize each others' feelings, using the power of their love to turn Rain Devila good at the cost of their lives. However, they're returned to life and live normal lives afterwards. |
