Spoilers ahead - A Summoner (aka Caller) from the Village Mist, Rydia loses her mother when a ring of fire had been brought upon her town from Baron Kingdom. Now the last remaining Summoner, Rydia is hunted down by Baron soldiers who want her dead. Fortunately, Cecil (the one who brought the bomb without knowing) saves Rydia, and she joins him on his journey. Later on, a ship the party was using to reach a new continent gets attacked by Leviathan, and he swallows Rydia and takes her underground to the Land of Summoned Monsters. While there, Rydia grows to become an adult due to how fast times goes by down there. When Rydia meets up with the party again, they're all surprised to learn that not only has she become an adult, but she has obtained stronger summons and spells, too! |
