ummm.... okay. mask is when you can color over any color other than the mask color. re-mask is when you can color over nothing but the chosen mask color. play around with mask first to get the idea, then, when you get the hang of that, play around with re-mask... and remember... if you're set on not messing up a pic, you can STILL experiment with it... that's what the undo button is for. ^_^ btw, gre
