Look at computer paper. It's pure white, isn't it? But when you fold it, values appear. The picture looks akward and unfinished..You should have put in a dark blue background and SOME sort of shading on the skin. As an artist, you shouldn't care about how things are SUPPOSED to be, you should care about what makes sense to the viewer. If something looks off, the viewer won't notice how beautiful a picture is, they'll just spend 7 seconds figuring out what looks wrong and then move on t
