[ Normal Section ]
There are catgirls in every conceivable type -- if not already appearing in one series or another, then
made up by artists. They are so popular that there's a seperate stream within anime/manga art for them.
This section is in no way meant to be the ultimate cargirl page (but I don't think anyone would mind if it
turned into that). Enjoy the many different styles of artwork available here, or visit the kitty-links,
listing websites containing, or solely devoted to, catgirls.
CG art is Computer Graphics. These are usually hand-drawn sketched, which are scanned, inked and coloured
in the computer. Usually very smooth and clear, with bright colours.
Oekaki/GB is technically a lot like CG, but created online. Oekaki and Groupboard are programs that run
in your webbrowser, offering the artist an area to draw in as well as a range of different tools to work
with. Both the Groupboard and Oekaki (Meaning 'doodle' in Japanese) are available from the main CG Shrines
screen. Groupboard is more grouporiented, with a chat-area and a shares drawing area where multiple artists can
work at the same time on the same drawing. Oekaki is a single-person tool, but you can leave comments with saved
work of others if you wish.
Black/White is closely related to pencil. It's basically black ink on white paper, with grey-scale for
added effect. Most ink drawings are clean and sharp. The can be made on paper, inked and then scanned, but some
artists work directly in the computer, using a drawing tablet, for example.
Pencil is sketching on paper and scanning the (finished) picture. Not nearly as clean as the computer
based art, it does have a charm of it's own that makes this type of work appealing.
Games are usually screenshots, or images removed from games that feature catgirls. There's dozens of different
catgirl characters in Japanese computer games. Most of them are adult-themed games, however.
Catgirl Shrines
Some catgirls have their own shrines on the CG Shrines. Click on their name to visit their shrines:
These shrines have links back to this page.
