Welcome to this week's update. I have a little treat for you - a little slice of madness just for you. Most of you will be familiar with Caramelldansen - it has been around for a good while already. If you're not, you still have time to run for the hills now - anyway, I added a little
shrine to the phenomenon of Caramelldansen since so many characters have been seen doing it. If you have animations or regular art that isn't there yet and feel like adding to the shrines, please don't hesitate and contribute it.
I've fixed a long standing bug with the thumbnailing of animated gifs - the results weren't exactly pretty most of the time, but now they've been improved a lot. A few will still look a little wonky, but that is caused by the original animation being badly put together. Overall they're a lot better watchable now.
This week's new arrivals:
Two pirates - well, one pirate and one anti-pirate to be specific and a straggling Touhou char:
Caramelldansen
Nami (One Piece)
Tashigi (One Piece)
Hong Meilin (Touhou)

This week's recommended anime series:
Dōjin Work (ドージンワーク) / Dōjin Wāku
What happens when a girl with absolutely no artistic skills discovers that her friend is selling doujinshi and making tons of cash with them? Why, she will make her own and become a millionaire, of course. The 12 fairly short episodes detail how she blunders into the world of doujinshi, both regular and h. She meets other people, many of whom are a little more weird that your average rabid fan. Amusing animations and eventhough the storyline itself doesn't really lead anywhere it's worth watching - it's as thin as the paper it was written on.
The series isn't aimed at children as much of the humour is obviously aimed at adults - and many of the jokes are very obscure. Someone not familiar with the plethora of doujinshi out there will miss out on some of the jokes.
